ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive in Arusha and meet your representative and driver guide at the airport. Transfer to the luxurious Gran Meliá for a relaxing evening, enjoying views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, if weather permits. Optional activities like Lake Duluti canoeing, yoga classes, and city tours are available (additional cost).

Day 1: Tarangire National Park
After a well deserved breakfast, your safari begins at Tarangire National Park, famed for its vast herds of elephants and distinctive baobab trees. Explore the diverse landscapes, home to giraffes, hippos, big cats, and more. In the afternoon you guide will transport you to Escarpment Luxury Lodge, where honeymoon surprises await.

Day 3: Serengeti via Ngorongoro Highlands
As you traverse the Ngorongoro Highlands, take the opportunity to visit a traditional Maasai Boma, gaining complimentary insights into the rich Maasai culture. From there, your safari continues into the Serengeti National Park, reaching the central Seronera region. This area, nourished by the Seronera River, stands as one of the park's most biodiverse wildlife habitats, providing a constant water source for its vibrant ecosystem. Day 4: Serengeti Balloon Safari
Rise early for an unforgettable balloon safari, where you'll be picked up from your lodge at 5:00 a.m. and gently lifted into the sky by 6:00 a.m. to witness the wildlife of the Serengeti from above. Soar gracefully over the plains, marveling at the animals below before landing to celebrate with a sumptuous breakfast and champagne. Your guide will then meet you for a comprehensive game drive through the heart of the Serengeti, a world-renowned wildlife sanctuary rich in biodiversity. Spot the "Big Five" — elephants, lions, buffalo, leopards, and black rhinos — and over 500 bird species, including vultures, owls, bustards, cranes, and secretary birds.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

After a delightful breakfast, descend into the famed Ngorongoro Crater for a captivating game drive. Formed approximately 2.5 million years ago by the dramatic collapse of a massive volcano, the crater is now a vast, unbroken caldera teeming with wildlife. Its unique ecosystem supports over 25,000 resident animals. Visit Lake Magadi, a distinctive, shallow alkaline lake nestled in the southwestern corner, where flocks of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds thrive. Day 7: Arusha - Fly to Zanzibar
Begin your day with a leisurely breakfast at your accommodation, followed by a transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be escorted to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at the beach at your leisure.

Day 12: Zanzibar Departure Day
Zanzibar is known for its world-class beaches. Today, take the opportunity to relax, swim, sunbathe, or stroll along the coastline before your transfer to the airport for your journey home. This will conclude your memorable wildlife and beach safari with Mazingira. You can choose to fly directly from Zanzibar or via Dar es Salaam.

(Please note that opting to depart from Dar es Salaam will incur additional transportation costs, either by boat or flight, from Zanzibar.)
